The SSVP Apostolate
HOME VISITATION.
- In pairs, the group conduct actual home visitation to depressed areas to identify and assess the needs of the poor, then
facilitate release of the following assistance as maybe needed to alleviate their setuation:
CORPORAL.
- Rice assistance
- Health care and personal hygiene
- Medicine support
- Availability of Traditional Medicine
- Transportation assistance
- Feeding
SPIRITUAL.
- Reception of sacraments
- Guidance and counseling
FORMATION PROGRAM.
- Selected clients are made to undergo three-year feeding and formation program which focus on human and spiritual development.
EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM.
- Deserving indigent children and street kids are given assistance to have formal education in school at the same time undergo
SSVP formation every weekend.
INCOME GENERATING PROJECTS.
- Regular clients who continue to attend the three-year formation program will be given assistance for income generating
and livelihood projects with close monitoring and guidance.
- After three year weekly formation, clients become SSVP members form into Conferences. They gather once a month for their
continuing formation, but meets frequently in prayer and in doing apostolic works.
